Europrofessionals has therefore drawn up this privacy statement. Europrofessionals handles and safeguards the personal information entrusted to it with the utmost care. Through this privacy statement, Europrofessionals aims to provide you with an understanding of how it processes your personal data in relevant situations, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    Europrofessionals is based in Denekamp, Nordhornsestraat 97, postcode 7591 BD, and, together with its group companies Europrofessionals Oost BV and Europrofessionals Engineering BV, acts as the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR. Europrofessionals therefore has control over the processing of personal data and determines the purposes and means of such processing.

    Europrofessionals sometimes engages other companies to carry out services on its behalf. In such situations, Europrofessionals remains responsible for the processing of your personal data. Europrofessionals enters into contractual agreements with these companies regarding the handling of your personal data, so that your privacy remains safeguarded.

    When you visit our website, the website automatically collects information about our visitors and their devices.   6. Why do we collect your personal data?

    Your personal data is used to provide you with the best possible HR services, including temporary work, secondment, recruitment, payroll, payroll administration, personnel management, personal development & employability, and recruitment & selection.

    Europrofessionals uses your data for the following purposes:

    To match supply and demand in the labour market.

    To inform you of interesting offers of products and services from Europrofessionals and third parties.

    To record hours worked and process them in our payroll system.

    To assess your suitability and availability in connection with placement in permanent or temporary work or an assignment, which may also involve the use of test results.

    To contact you regarding commercial offers, newsletters and promotional campaigns that may be of interest to you, provided you have opted in.

    To enter into and maintain an employment or personnel/placement relationship with you and to carry out the relevant administrative tasks in this regard.

    To fulfil our reintegration obligations and to comply with (the government-imposed objective) of helping people who are at a greater distance from the labour market to find work.

    To be able to formalise an assignment with the client in a contract with the client, and to maintain and fulfil the contract with the client.

    To process data on behalf of our clients as part of a pre-employment screening.

    To promote your personal development and employability, including training, education and testing.

    For management purposes, including management information, carrying out internal controls and ensuring workplace safety, and conducting audits and statutory audits.

    Quality purposes, such as certification.

    To apply for grants, premium discounts and similar benefits.

    If we have entered into an employment or personnel/recruitment relationship with you, to comply with laws and regulations, including but not limited to identification, labour law, tax and social security legislation, combating fraud, and national and international sanctions legislation.

     

  7. What personal data do we collect from you?

    Europrofessionals may process the personal data listed below if you are a jobseeker, candidate, seconded employee, (temporary) employee, self-employed person and/or business contact of Europrofessionals. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is accurate and up to date.

    Jobseeker or candidate

    1. Name and address details, email address, telephone number and other contact details.
    2. Date of birth, age, gender.
    3. Curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, work placements and work experience.
    4. Details of training courses and/or assessments that you have undertaken either independently or through us.
    5. Information regarding availability and leave.
    6. Other information that is or may be relevant in the context of assessing the candidate’s suitability, for example references, certificates and details regarding work experience.
    7. On a voluntary basis, other content through which you introduce yourself (video, photo).
    8. Data other than that mentioned above, the processing of which is required by law or is necessary for the purposes of complying with the law.

    Seconded staff, (temporary) employees and self-employed individuals

    1. If you are working, have worked or may work for Europrofessionals or its clients, Europrofessionals may process the following data:
    2. Name and address details, email address, telephone number, bank and/or giro account number and other contact details.
    3. Date of birth, age, gender.
    4. Curriculum vitae (CV), information about education, work placements and work experience.
    5. Details of training courses and/or tests that you have undertaken yourself or through us.
    6. Information regarding availability and leave.
    7. Nationality, BSN & proof of identity (copy of proof of identity), and any work permit.
    8. Information provided as part of a pre-employment screening.
    9. Information regarding the nature and content of previous employment placements, as well as the circumstances of their termination.
    10. Other data that may be relevant in assessing the candidate’s suitability, for example references, certificates and details of work experience.
    11. Other data relating to personnel, salary and absence records.
    12. On a voluntary basis, other content with which you introduce yourself (video, photo).
    13. Data other than that mentioned above, the processing of which is required by law or is necessary for the purposes of complying with the law.
  8. Third parties

    Europrofessionals may disclose your personal data to other entities within the Europrofessionals group, its clients, subcontractors (such as data processors) who provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of Europrofessionals, suppliers, government bodies and other business associates. And in all other cases where we may be obliged to do so, for example by a court order or a court judgement.

    The disclosure of personal data is based on a legitimate interest, a legal obligation and/or for the performance of the contract in accordance with the purposes set out under “Why do we collect your personal data?”.

    Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. Europrofessionals has taken the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data transferred is adequately protected.

     

  9. Your rights

    We are committed to ensuring that you can easily exercise your rights regarding the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise any of the rights listed below, please contact us as described below.

    Accessing and/or amending data

    You may contact us at any time via info@europrofessionals.nl or by post at PO Box 108, 7590 AC, Denekamp, to request details of which (categories of) data we process about you, the purposes for which this is done, the source of the data and the retention periods we apply.

    In addition, you may contact us at any time to supplement, correct or delete your data. Should it transpire that we have provided incorrect personal data about you, we will rectify this.

    If you have your own private web environment or portal, you may also be able to supplement, correct or delete your data (in part) yourself.

    Where we have amended your personal data, we will inform you accordingly.

    Restricting the processing of your data

    If you disagree with the content of the data we hold about you, you may submit a request to temporarily restrict the processing of your data. We will then refrain from disclosing your data until you are satisfied that it is correct again. You may submit a request to restrict processing at any time via info@europrofessionals.nl or by post to PO Box 108, 7590 AC, Denekamp.

    Where we restrict the processing of your personal data, we will inform you accordingly.

    Right to data portability

    You may request the personal data we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format via info@europrofessionals.nl. You are entirely free to transfer this information to third parties.

    Right to be forgotten

    If you no longer wish to use our services, you may submit a request for the deletion of all your personal data. You may request the deletion of all your data at any time by emailing info@europrofessionals.nl or by writing to PO Box 108, 7590 AC, Denekamp.

    You may also withdraw any consent you may have given for the processing of your data at any time. We will cease processing your personal data for which you had given consent. However, withdrawing your consent does not affect any processing that has already taken place.

    Procedure, response time and costs

    We aim to process your requests as set out in this section as quickly as possible, but no later than within one month. We are obliged to verify your identity before your requests can be fulfilled. In principle, your requests will be processed electronically, unless this is not possible or you request otherwise.

    In principle, we do not charge any fees for processing your aforementioned requests, unless your requests are excessive, manifestly unfounded or, in the case of the right of access, you request additional copies.

  11. Security

    Europrofessionals makes every effort to provide the best possible protection for your personal data against unauthorised use. We do this by means of physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures. For example: only authorised personnel have access to the data. Where and to the extent that data is provided to data processors who provide services or carry out tasks on its behalf, Europrofessionals has agreed with them that they too will provide the highest level of protection for personal data.

     

  12. Retention period

    Europrofessionals does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing and in accordance with the statutory retention periods.

    Europrofessionals reserves the right to amend or modify this privacy statement. None of the provisions in this privacy statement are intended to create any obligation or agreement between Europrofessionals and a data subject.

    The provisions of this privacy statement and any disputes arising therefrom are governed by Dutch law.
